Molly was raised and born in Pennsylvania. Molly began her professional life when she was thirteen and was a part of Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. She portrayed Little Red Ridinghood shortly after in the Arden Theater s Into the Woods production in which she was awarded the Barrymore Award nomination. It was recast by Molly when she performed her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway in 2002. She received an award from the Drama League Award for this performance. Molly was also in the cast of the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. Molly then went to Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with an B.A. In this period that she made her movie debut in Disney's College Road Trip in the role of Wendy Greenhut. During this time she also appeared in a film for the first time, Disney The College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. Following graduation, Molly was in Off-Broadway productions of several plays including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and also in television work including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly is a part of several regional plays including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre as well as the Westport Country Playhouse's show The Diary of Anne Frank.
